Germany and France next for a quarantine in the UK? Under review, says junior minister | News

“We need to keep the situation under review and I think that’s what the public expects from us,” young health minister Helen Whately told Sky, when asked whether Germany and France could be about to be quarantined.

“If we see the rates increasing in a country where at the moment there is no need to quarantine, if we see the rates increasing, we should take action because we cannot take the risk of the coronavirus spreading again across the UK, ”she said.

Britain has brutally imposed a two-week coronavirus quarantine on travelers returning from Spain, a move that has dismayed holidaymakers.
