Germany and France next for a quarantine in the UK? It is under review, says the minister

LONDON (Reuters) – The British government is closely monitoring the situation in Germany and France and is continuously reviewing the situation in popular holiday destinations, a junior health minister said on Monday when asked about the expansion of the quarantine for the ‘Spain.“We need to keep the situation under review and I think that’s what the public expects from us,” young health minister Helen Whately told Sky when asked about Germany and the France could be on the verge of being quarantined.

“If we see the rates increasing in a country where at the moment there is no need to quarantine, if we see the rates increasing, we will have to take action because we cannot take the risk of the coronavirus spreading again across the UK, ”she said.

Britain has brutally imposed a two-week coronavirus quarantine on travelers returning from Spain, a move that has dismayed holidaymakers.
