PARIS (Reuters) – French health authorities on Wednesday reported 1,392 more confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, to 185,196, the largest daily increase in more than a month.

There were also 15 new deaths linked to the disease, bringing the total to 30,238, a figure higher than the average daily increase of nine seen last week.
