Finally, Wild signs his best hope – The Athletic


The “Kaprizov watch”, which lasted nearly five years, finally ended. Seventy-four days after the expiration of his contract in the Kontinental Hockey League, the highly decorated prospect of south-western Siberia is a little closer to officially launching the next chapter of his already accomplished career by finally accepting the conditions on Monday for his entry into a two-year higher-level contract with the Wild.

The contract begins with the 2019-2020 season, but according to the transition rules of the ratified collective agreement on Friday, Kaprizov is not allowed to play during the resumption of this summer and cannot receive a penny in terms of salary, performance bonuses and signing bonuses.
