Fear for disappearance of Glee star Naya Rivera after 4-year-old son found alone on boat in lake


Naya Rivera is missing after her four-year-old son was found alone floating on a boat on Lake Piru in Ventura County.The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department was reported to respond to a report of the toddler on a boat on Wednesday around 4:48 p.m.

The child was found by the police at the scene, but no information was immediately published on the child’s condition.

A diving team and an air unit were deployed in response, said the VCSD.

The boy is said to be unharmed and to have told investigators that he and his mother were swimming, but she never got back into the boat.

The authorities are working to reunite the child with his family members.

The 33-year-old actress played Santana Lopez in the blockbuster musical drama series and Naya’s latest tweet is moving from her hugs with her son.

She captioned the close-up photo of them together, which she posted on Tuesday with: “just the two of us.”

Divers at the scene warned that “it could take several days” as Naya’s search continues.

A search and rescue operation was undertaken by the lake, but it has not been found.

Authorities have suspended the search for the night and plan to resume on Thursday.
