The Ubisoft title recently announced when it presented Ubisoft Forward today was Far Cry 6, which was shown with a movie trailer and a release date of February 18, 2021.
The game is scheduled for release on current and next generation systems, on Xbox and PlayStation as well as on Google Stadia, and Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on PC. It will also be part of the Uplay + subscription service.
Other titles featured during the showcase included Watch Dogs: Legion and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, which received release dates of October 29, 2020 and November 17, 2020, respectively.
Both games will offer smart delivery on Xbox systems – meaning users who buy the game on Xbox Series X or Xbox One will be able to play it on both systems without buying a second time.
In addition, Brawlhalla received an iOS and Android release date on August 6, and the free Battle Royale of Ubisoft Hyper Scape is now available in a free open PC beta.
The presentation ended with the news that another Ubisoft Forward event would arrive later this year with more announcements.
Ubisoft Forward took place today to replace the usual presentation of the E3 editor, following a wave of allegations of abuse against a number of employees of the company up to senior managers .
The company has since announced plans to restructure its editorial staff in response to the allegations, and has put some executives on leave while others have resigned.
Ubisoft admitted this morning that its presentation had taken place at a time of “big internal change”, declaring in advance that it would not deal with these problems during its prerecorded Ubisoft Forward presentation.
