Hull City had a double injury before traveling to West Brom on Sunday.Herbie Kane and Callum Elder raised separate concerns in the Tigers’ 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough on Thursday – their first victory in 13 league games.

The involvement of this last Sunday will be decided on the advice of medical staff, in accordance with concussion protocols; indeed, if Elder can’t appear, Grant McCann could have another problem at the back.

“He looks like his hamstrings,” McCann told HullLive about Kane’s problem. “We are not sure of the seriousness. Herbie ran into her and said she just felt a little tense, so hopefully we caught her early, but we won’t know how much until we see the doctors and the physios.

“Callum Elder had to go out with an elbow. We saw it on the video and it didn’t look too pretty, so I’m surprised the officials missed it.

“He came out with a concussion, so we’ll probably have to follow a protocol.

“I’m not sure how long it is per minute, I think these are different types for gravity, so we’ll see how it goes over the next few days. “
