Emily Andre hit Courtney Green and her TOWIE co-stars for their blatant disregard for social distancing while celebrating her 25th birthday last month.

The doctor, 30, who works tirelessly on the front line, wrote in his column with OK! The people of the magazine in the eyes of the public have a moral responsibility to give the impression of following the rules.

At the end of last month, Courtney and several of his co-stars sparked outrage when they posted a series of photos of the birthday celebrations and made fun of the 2-meter rule.

Emily wrote, “It seems unfair because a lot of people break the rules, but unfortunately, when you have so many followers on social media, it’s a little trickier.

“Whether or not you agree with the rules, when you are in the public eye, I think you have a duty to try and at least look like a social distancing.

“It’s probably not the best idea to post it on social media for your young subscribers to see. “

Emily went on to say how she thought it was a good idea for localized blockages after the increase in the number of cases in Leicester.

Last week, Secretary of Health, Matt Hancock, confirmed that lockouts will be extended in the city of East Midlands for at least two weeks after a dramatic increase in the number of cases, with non-essential stores closed at new and schools closed from Thursday.

In a series of cheeky Instagram videos shared during Courtney’s party, guests such as Yazmin Oukhellou, Chloe Meadows, Chloe Lewis and Amber Turner expressed blatant disregard for the rules surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

After 29-year-old Chloé L shared a photo of the party, a follower asked why she didn’t recognize the rules, to which she replied, “Not a party and we have had some tests done.” So we’re safe, ”while Courtney shared a message mocking the 2-meter rule.

Courtney and her parents organized a party at their home in Essex, with a series of lavish additions, including a full set of karaoke, an ice cream van and masses of alcohol.

In true TOWIE style, the party was documented in great detail on social media with guests sharing videos throughout the evening.

Some illegal acts in the video saw Yazmin and his birthday daughter Courtney share a kiss, guests sharing microphones and close hugs.

Adding an additional insult to the injury to those who abide by the rules, Courtney posed for a photo with a guest with both hands outstretched and the legend of the joke: “Are we two yards apart” , in a nod to the rules at the time, insisting that people kept a distance of 2 meters.
