Two people were taken to a large trauma unit this afternoon following a drunken knife fight in a London park which saw a man arrested.
Paramedics treated three people at the scene and took two to hospital after the attack on Finsbury Park, north London, shortly before 3 p.m.
Metropolitan Police said a group of men were drunk and fighting in the park, and officers arrested a person suspected of grievous bodily harm.

A police spokesperson said: “Haringey Police are busy after a man was injured in a fight. Officers were called at 2:42 p.m. on Tuesday July 21 at Finsbury Park, N4.
“It was reported that a group of men were drunk and fighting in the park. Officers came and found a man with apparent injuries.
The London ambulance service was present and the man was taken to hospital, his injuries not considered life threatening.
“A second man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. A crime scene is in place. Investigations are continuing.

And a spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at 2:51 pm today for reports of stabbing and assaults in Finsbury Park.
“We dispatched three ambulance teams and an incident response officer. We treated three people at the scene and took two to a large trauma center.
At this point, none of the injuries are considered life threatening.
It comes after a man last night became the 11th murder victim in London in 17 days after dying of a serious head injury in Ealing. A 36-year-old man was arrested.
