Dr. Hilary Jones will not be on Good Morning Britain from next week, it was revealed. The doctor has been there daily since the coronavirus pandemic brought the UK under control in March.

From the first cases and deaths, to the ever-evolving locking rules, Dr. Hilary has been there for all of this.

By providing key information and advice, and by addressing cases where the handling of Covid-19 may have gone wrong, he has been a key figure in the series for the past four months.

Before that, he appeared regularly to discuss the latest health issues, before his role intensified in the midst of the pandemic.
