The popular chat service Discord has experienced widespread server outages today. The problems started around 5 p.m. ET and lasted almost an hour. Patreon, Deliveroo, GitLab, Zendesk, Medium, and many other sites were also down, and Cloudflare acknowledged that issues with its network were affecting various applications and sites.
“The problem has been identified and a fix is being implemented,” Cloudflare explains. Discord also had “all the engineers on the bridge to investigate the problem,” and its own issues were related to the Cloudflare outage.

This is Discord’s second major outage this year, after the service faced connectivity issues in March.
