‘Dancing Nurse’ Says Helping COVID-19 Crisis in New York Prepared Her for Rising California Cases


NEW YORK – A heroic California nurse left her family to help New York City during the height of our coronavirus crisis. Now, she says the experience is helping her as cases increase in her home state.We first met Ana Wilkinson in May as she was preparing to return home after her last shift at Harlem Hospital.

Now, two months later, Wilkinson has told PIX11’s Dan Mannarino how her time in New York helped her prepare, both as a nurse and “emotionally,” or another series to fight the COVID-19 in his home hospital.
