Coronavirus: England benefits from a more flexible lock

Pubs, restaurants, hairdressers and cinemas in England are reopening after three months of coronavirus locking restrictions.Businesses must adhere to strict security measures and social distancing rules.

Other places are now allowed to reopen in England:

  • Outdoor gymnasiums, children’s play areas and other outdoor spaces
  • Libraries, community centers, bingo halls, cinemas, museums and galleries
  • Fairs and theme parks, games rooms, outdoor skating rinks, social clubs and model villages
  • Places of worship can open for prayers and services, including weddings with up to 30 guests
