A case of the novel coronavirus has been confirmed at a store in the CF Toronto Eaton Center.Sheila Jennings, general manager of the mall, said the case involved the Bikini Village store.

“Bikini Village has acted quickly and responsibly by immediately contacting Cadillac Fairview and Public Health,” Jennings said in a statement Tuesday.

“The client and CF took the necessary action in accordance with public health advice by arranging a thorough cleaning of the client area, which was done last night.”

Jennings said the mall is also doing extra cleaning at “high touch points,” including elevators, common seats, railings and doors.

Jennings added that health officials said no further action was required and the mall could remain open.
