Quarantine beard and shaggy hair were nowhere to be seen last night as a haircut and a new Eden Hazard started on the left wing during Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Villarreal, who confirmed the Galácticos as champions of Spain for the first time in three years and just the second time since 2012.
It is the fourth title of champion of Eden’s career, after that with Lille in two with Chelsea. Although it is not a (first) stellar season in Spain for Hazard by any stretch of the imagination for – in fact, comfortably his worst season as a professional with only 1 goal in 21 appearances in all competitions, hampered by multiple injuries and occasional hamburger – it ends on a good note for the 29-year-old man. (Real is still alive in the Champions League as well, which will resume next month.)
Chelsea will get millions more from Real Madrid for Eden Hazard if Real wins the title tonight. There were some easy-to-reach bonuses in the agreement – upfront costs: 100 million euros more. #CFC was always sure to get at least 130 million euros. pic.twitter.com/MGYahn2Th2

Of course, we are very happy that Eden wins a title with her childhood dream club, but we are even more happy that this title also brings Chelsea a decent bonus, part of the easily achievable bonus package which was part from Hazard. Transfer of € 100 million last summer.
Although the exact details are not known and will probably never be known, the bonus would be around 15 million euros.
And yes, you too, T-BO.
