Animal rights activist Carole Baskin was furious after being forced to leave a paid video message for Rolf Harris. The 59-year-old Tiger King star was prompted by Australian comedian Tom Armstrong to post a video message that apparently came from the “children” of former Australian artist Rolf Harris.

Artist and television presenter Harris, 90, was sentenced in June 2014 to five years and nine months in prison for 12 indecent assaults on four adolescent girls between 1968 and 1986.

He was released on license in 2017 after serving nearly three years in prison.

Carole Baskin recently created an account on the Cameo video messaging service, where celebrities offer personalized videos to fans who pay for the messages.

Carole Baskin of Tiger King was forced to leave a video message for Rolf Harris

Adorned with her branded leopard print and wearing a crown of flowers while holding a soft tiger toy, Carole delivered her latest Cameo message.

In the video, Carole introduces herself before reading the message.

She says, “Hi Rolf Harris, all of your kids wanted to get together and tell you that you really touched them and that they love everything you’ve done for them. ”

The message also refers to Jimmy Savile, the television personality who died in 2011 before numerous charges of sexual abuse were brought against him.

Carole continues in the message: “I heard there are many great stories about you and your best friend Jimmy Savile. I can’t wait to hear them. ”

Carole then disconnects, saying “Happy birthday, Rolf” and kissing the camera.

Comedian Tom Armstrong shared the Cameo video on his TikTok account.

Before the clip, Tom presents the video saying, “Surely I couldn’t get another American celebrity to shout out Australia’s most notorious sex predator – bonus points if they mention the most notorious sex predator from the United Kingdom. “

Rolf Harris served nearly three years in prison for child sex crimes

Savile was identified as a prolific sex offender after his death in 2011

Reacting to the farce, Carole told Mirror Online exclusively: “I am amazed at the lengths (and expenses) to which people will go in order to undermine my reputation.

“Of course, I’ve never heard of Rolf Harris, and I wouldn’t have made the cameo if I had known.

“The signature line in my email reads:” I’m asking you to judge me by the enemies I made – Franklin D. Roosevelt “, and I think that tells you everything you need to know about the kind of people who mistreat me in their efforts to make others hate me. ”

Carole Baskin has already raked in 16k in a single day using the Cameo application

It is not the first time that Tom has managed to convince an American celebrity to make an unpleasant cry.

He had previously managed to get 7th Heaven star Beverly Mitchell to pay homage to Australian serial killer Ivan Milat.

Tiger King: Murder, Madness and Mayhem is now available on Netflix.
