BREAKING: Walt Disney World Releases Details on 2020 Pass Extensions, Cancellations and Refunds

Walt Disney World has released all the details regarding additional expansion options, as well as how to request cancellation and refunds. You can check out all the details below, and be sure to keep in mind the important August 11 deadline for cancellations and refunds:

Reopening of political options

We know that many pass holders are thrilled to return to the magic and we can’t wait to see our precious passes as well. We also recognize that park reservations will change the way many of our pass holders use their passes. With this in mind, we offer these alternative options for managing your pass.

If you are an annual pass holder who has paid in full, your options are:

  • Receive an additional one month (30 day) extension of your pass (unless you choose to cancel your pass). This additional month will be automatically processed and visible in your My Disney Experience account in the coming weeks.
  • If you prefer, and instead of extending it for a month, you can choose to cancel your annual pass (s). Your pass will remain valid until August 11, 2020 and will be canceled as of August 12, 2020. You will be reimbursed for the remaining access days of your annual pass from July 11, 2020 until the expiration date of your pass (as extended, if applicable). Refunds to the original payment method are expected by mid-late September. Refunds can take up to an additional month to be received if the original payment method is not available. If you have an annual subscription to the monthly payment plan, your options are:

  • Receive an additional one month (30 days) extension of your pass (unless you decide to cancel your pass). This additional month will be automatically processed and visible in your My Disney Experience account in the coming weeks.
  • If you prefer, and instead of the additional one month extension, you can choose to cancel your annual pass (s). If you choose this option, monthly payments will be stopped from August 12, 2020. Your passes will remain valid until August 11, 2020 and will be canceled from August 12, 2020. All payments made between July 11, 2020 and August 11 2020 will be reimbursed retroactively. If you made a payment between March 14, 2020 and April 4, 2020 that was not already refunded, that payment will also be refunded retroactively. Refunds to the original payment method are expected by mid-late September. Refunds can take up to an additional month to be received if the original payment method is not available.To request this option, contact VIPASSHOLDER support at (407) 939-7277.

Until August 11, 2020, call VIPASSHOLDER support at 407-939-7277 to cancel your pass or for assistance with any individual concerns. Please note that once submitted, selections cannot be changed.
