But his agent Kia Joorabchian has said the former Liverpool star will not make up his mind until Bayern Munich have been knocked out of this season’s Champions League.
Coutinho has spent the season on loan at Bayern, who have a three-goal advantage as they prepare to host Chelsea in the second leg of their Champions League second leg on August 8.
As Barcelona look to cut the 28-year-old’s payroll this summer, Coutinho has been linked with Arsenal as manager Mikel Arteta is said to be a fan, and midfielder agent Joorabchian has close ties to the hierarchy of Gunners.
And Joorabchian reiterated that one of his client’s priorities is a return to the league where he played for five seasons with Liverpool before his 2018 move to Camp Nou.
“Because the Champions League is going to last until August 23, I think it will be difficult for players like Coutinho to commit or move until then,” Joorabchian told talkSPORT.
“He has the Champions League right now and they have to qualify for the next round [against Chelsea], then he could play for Barcelona, believe it or not.
“After the Champions League it’s no secret that he wants to come back to the Premier League if he can. He loves playing in the Premier League and is adored in the Premier League.
“It’s one of his priorities… but he’s not against staying at Barcelona either, so it’s very open.
Before Joorabchian concludes: “There is a real interest in Philippe.
