Two men died in Spain after a British tourist fell from a hotel balcony and landed on another man below, officials said.
The incident occurred on Sunday around 1:45 a.m. at the Melia Don Pepe hotel in Marbella.
The 50-year-old British man was staying at the hotel when he somehow fell from a seventh floor balcony.

Emergency services officials told local media that the British man had crashed and landed on a second man, a 43-year-old Spanish resident.
The two were declared dead at the scene.
A spokesman for the Malaga National Police told Metro that the incident was under investigation.

“I can confirm that two men died in a hotel in Marbella after one dived from the seventh floor and landed on top of each other,” said the spokesman.
A spokesman for the Department of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs confirmed the death of the British national to Sky News, adding that he supported the man’s family “after his death in Spain” and was in communication with the local police.
