Ontario is confirming 138 new cases of COVID-19 today, a drop from the 195 cases reported yesterday.In a tweet, Health Minister Christine Elliott said, once again, that the majority (66%) of new cases are people under the age of 40.
Another death was reported, bringing the death toll to 2,759.
The provincial total of confirmed cases now stands at 38,543, of which 88.8% are considered resolved.
Today, as Ontario reports 138 cases of # COVID19, an increase of 0.4%, we reached another milestone: After processing almost 30,000 tests yesterday, we have now processed over 2 million tests since the start of the pandemic. Testing will remain a vital part of our plan to defeat this virus.
