13 new COVID cases for the southern zone, including five in Lethbridge County

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Alberta government released its report on COVID-19 for Friday, July 10.

77 new cases were confirmed in Alberta, the largest one-day increase in at least a month, bringing the total to 8,596. Of these, 592 cases are still active while 7,844 people have recovered.

This includes 13 other infections in the southern health zone, with cases in Lethbridge, Lethbridge County, Cardston County, Warner County, Fort Macleod and Medicine Hat.

The largest increase was recorded in Lethbridge County, a region spanning Coaldale, Coalhurst, Picture Butte and other neighboring communities.
