YG forced to cancel protest and publishes “FTP”

YG releases a new song after learning that their protest could become dangerous.

YG’s plans to hold a protest following the recent assassinations of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery have been put on hold. The rapper went to Instagram to announce that he had been told that the protest could be dangerous and could potentially result in injury or gunfire.

“So I had bad news, I was told today that my protest is not safe and that people could be injured or shot,” said YG. He previously announced plans to hold a demonstration at Hollywood & Vine in Los Angeles. “I’m not trying to hurt or shoot any of my people, so I’m going to cancel the date. It’s fucked up but I’m going to come back better and better. I work in partnership with Black Lives Matter and we will do it shit the right way. For people, for the city, and for all artists who want to go out and participate. “

Although his protest was postponed to a later date, he went against the label’s wish to release another protest song called “FTP”. Carrying the traditions of the natives of Compton NWA, his latest song revitalizes the term “Fuck The Police”.

“Uck Fuck The Police’ is out right now. It’s in my biography. I couldn’t wait for the label, “he said. “I’ll see you outside. “
