WWE SmackDown Ratings Increase for Undertaker Tribute Show

Friday night ratings for WWE SmackDown Fox Tribute to Undertaker Edition increased 4.1% in overall ratings, averaging 2.174 million viewers, the show’s highest total since 17 April. The focus on replay of the boneyard match WrestleMania was one of the main reasons for the number as the first hour had an average of 2.271 million viewers where the match took the majority of the hour. The second hour posted a larger than usual drop of almost 9%, averaging 2.076 million.

The demo numbers were essentially the same as last month. In 18-34, the show averaged 0.3 for the fourth consecutive week. It beat all the competition on network television and unlike the most recent weeks, this competition was mainly original programming. In 18-49, the show made the same score of 0.5 it did in the past four weeks. This linked the three hours of ABC programming to the top spot on the network TV demo.

In total, SmackDown beat an original episode of Dateline NBC and a rehearsal of The Wall by NBC, but followed all the other shows on the main networks.

Here is an overview of the last ten weeks of SmackDown’s nighttime audience and key demo notes:
