WWE says WrestleMania 36 was Undertaker’s last game, highlights of SmackDown tributes

Undertaker may or may not have worked his last game at WrestleMania, but WWE certainly gave the impression in Friday’s Smackdown that it did. In tonight’s episode, the broadcast team repeatedly mentioned that the Boneyard match was the last game in the dead man’s career.

Smackdown was presented as a tribute to the Undertaker, who said in the last episode of his Last round docuseries that “never say never, but … at this point in my life and career, I have no desire to return to the ring.” There were several packages and video segments with stars discussing the Undertaker’s career, including one where King Corbin cut a promo that slams Taker which led to an attack on Jeff Hardy and a match between the two in the main event.
