Wolves vie with Arsenal for transfer as Raul Jimenez sends message to Manchester United

Jimenez promises wolves amid transfer interest

Raul Jimenez has promised not to let any speculation on the transfer distract him from a record season for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The striker became Mexico’s top scorer in the Premier League in a single campaign, marking his 15th of the season in a midweek win over Bournemouth.

His tally stands at 24 across all competitions this quarter after also enjoying prolific form in the Europa League.

It’s no surprise that a number of clubs across Europe are linked to Jimenez before the summer transfer window, with likes from Manchester United and Liverpool being interested. The 29-year-old admits seeing the rumors but remains fully focused on Molineux’s affairs.

Wolves rival Arsenal for Salzburg midfielder

Wolves are interested in RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, according to reports.

The Semper Milan website says the Wanderers are one of many prominent European clubs to watch the 19-year-old.

They say that AC Milan has been in contact with the Hungarian agent and that an official offer could be made in the coming days.

But they also claim that a Tweet from journalist Alessandro Jacobone indicates that other clubs have been too.

Traoré and Nuno hired by an expert

Adama Traoré was on the field only two minutes before Leander Dendoncker scored to give the Wolves victory over Aston Villa.

The Spaniard played his part in the 62nd minute movement that saw Dendoncker shoot ahead of Orjan Nyland and his team move to Manchester United in fifth position.

On the bench from the start – no matter when or where the 24-year-old plays, which is probably why he is tied to United, Liverpool and Barcelona.

It is certainly of good quality, according to talkSPORT specialist Jason Cundy.
