For a special father’s day edition Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Red Table Talk, Will Smith is to join his wife on the red sofa for an intimate conversation about parenting.The lessons that they have learned that the parents, the failures that they have had to overcome and what their children have learned, through all of this, the Will is opening up about his journey to fatherhood. During their candid conversation, Jada Will be asked, ” When do you think that your fathering instincts kicked? ”

“From the time I was six years old, I wanted to be a father,” Will be answered. “I liked the way my family was, but there were huge critical vulnerabilities in my father in his role of parent that I wanted to correct. By the time I was ten years old, I remember looking at my father and thinking that I could do better than him. ”

He went on, ” My father had a little cold-blooded. I was a gentle child, of the kind, I was not a child that you had to slap or a punch or a beating. So grew up in a household where physical aggression has been approved, which has really chaffed my hide. That hurt my spirit. ”

And for the Will, to become a father for the first time, it was a transformative experience. The pursuit of Happiness the actor got emotional reflecting on the way of becoming a father for the first time at the age of 24 years to his first born Trey Smith.
