(Editor’s note: additional fights on the main map were finalized too late for our staff selection function.)The UFC is back with another event on its territory.

UFC on ESPN 12 will take place on Saturday at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card is broadcast on ESPN and broadcasts on ESPN +.

(Click here to open a PDF of the staff selection grid in a separate window.)

In the main event, former acting lightweight champion Dustin Poirier (25-6 MMA, 17-5 UFC) faces Dan Hooker (20-8 MMA, 10-4 UFC). Poirier is a 2-1 favorite when he returns after losing a title unification fight to champion Khabib Nurmagomedov last September, and he has a big lead from our 14 publishers, writers, videographers and radio hosts. They line up with him at a 10-4 clip.

In the main co-event, Mickey Gall (6-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) faces 3-1 favorite Mike Perry (13-6 MMA, 6-6 UFC) in the welterweight. Perry has a solid lead in the picks at 9-5.

Also on the main card, Brendan Allen (14-3 MMA, 2-0 UFC) is a big favorite against unbeaten promotional newcomer Kyle Daukaus (9-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), and he is the most favorite heavy among our pickers at 12-2.

And Gian Villante (17-11 MMA, 7-8 UFC) goes to the heavyweights to face Maurice Greene (8-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC). Greene is more than a 2-1 favorite, but he only has a slight 8-6 lead in picks with almost half of our staff making Villante angry.

In the consensus choices of MMA readers Junkie, Poirier (75%), Perry (57%), Allen (77%) and Greene (66%) are the choices.

Check out all of the choices above.
