When will Disneyland reopen amidst coronaviruses?

The Disneyland Resort, closed since mid-March to help stem the spread of the coronavirus, is preparing to reopen just in time to celebrate the park’s 65th anniversary. The so-called happiest place on Earth plans to start a gradual reopening in July.Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will open July 17, pending approval from local and national authorities.

The park’s downtown Disney shopping district is scheduled to reopen on July 9, and the Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and the Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will open on July 23. Capacity will be limited and guests will need to reserve in advance, Walt Disney Co said in a statement.

Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, earlier announced a gradual reopening effective July 11.

A complete, unforeseen closure unrelated to Disneyland weather is such an anomaly that it has occurred only three times in the park’s 65-year history.
