Another day, another last-minute hiccups, Dana White and his matchmakers have to deal with. According to MMA Fighting, Kyle Nelson has encountered some visa issues, while attempting to cross the border into the united States from Canada, forcing him to withdraw from his scheduled fight against Sean Woodson.
Accordingly, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be dragging his fight card of the UFC on ESPN 12 mixed martial arts (MMA) event this Saturday. the night (27 June 2020) inside the UFC’s APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, Julian Erosa will step in to fill the void.
Erosa — who won his first place on the list of the UFC via the Ultimate Fighter (TUF) — has been cut from the promotion for a year, after three straight defeats. Since then, Erosa has only competed once, defeating A. J. Bryant, CageSport 60 earlier this year.
Woodson, meanwhile, is undefeated so far in his young mixed martial arts (MMA) career (7-0, 1-0 UFC), winning his Octagon debut last October against Kyle Bochniak. Woodson got his first taste of UFC action on the ” Competitor of the Series.’
The UFC on ESPN 12 will be headlined by a Lightweight tilt between former interim champion, Dustin Poirier, in taking on Dan Hooker. The co-main event will see Mike Perry’s take on Mickey Gall at welterweight.
