Variety reports that during a live chat on Instagram last week, former Vanderpump rules The star of Faith Stowers said that Stassi, 31, and Kristen, 37, had called the police to report the crimes that had been reported in a Daily Mail article about a black woman wanted for theft.
The woman in the Daily Mail article was not Faith.
“There was this article in Daily Mail where there was an African American woman,” Faith said on June 2. “It was a weird photo, so it looked very clear and had these different strange tattoos. They presented it and I guess this woman was stealing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. It’s like, a true story. I heard that from Stassi in an interview. ”
Stassi spoke about calling the police during a 2018 appearance on the B-h Bible podcast.
At the time, Kristen tweeted the Daily Mail article and wrote, “Hey tweeties, does this ex-thief of #pumprules seem unfamiliar to you? someone put it on mtv and gave it a press platform. I didn’t want to go, but I’m going. ”
After Faith spoke on Instagram, Kristen apologized on June 7.
“I took a while to really process what I saw, felt and learned,” she wrote. “And I have to address something specific that happened a few years ago with my former teammate, Faith Stowers.”
Kristen continued: “Although my actions were not motivated by race, I am now fully aware of how my privilege has blinded me to the reality of the treatment of the black community by law enforcement and the dangerousness of my actions for her. I never intended to add to injustice and imbalance. ”
“I am ashamed, I am embarrassed and incredibly sorry. I will do better. I have to do better, ”said Kristen.

Stassi went to Instagram Monday to post a statement, writing, “Racist comments from my past have resurfaced. It is important that I continue to take responsibility for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better. ”
She continued, “I have grown considerably compared to the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the harm I caused. I am grateful to the people in my life who continue to control me and push me to evolve towards a more educated person. ”
“I also want to speak to my former teammate, Faith Stowers. My feelings about something that happened between our friends have exceeded my logic, and there is no excuse for that. I didn’t recognize the serious ramifications that could have happened as a result of my actions, “Stassi wrote.
“What I did to Faith was wrong. I apologize and I don’t expect forgiveness. I am also sorry for anyone who feels disappointed in me. I will continue to take a closer look at myself and my actions – taking the time to listen, learn and be accountable for my own privilege, “she concluded.
Stassi’s dismissal comes after being dismissed from his agency, UTA, and his public relations company (RP), Metro Public Relations because of his actions towards Faith.
A UTA spokesperson told Variety that Stassi was no longer a client of the agency.
The public relations firm confirmed on Monday at the branch that it had broken ties with Stassi, saying: “She became a client when her publicist joined our company in July 2018. We decided this weekend to part with Stassi. ”
Stassi and Kristen have not discussed their layoffs to date.
