Toronto Raptors calendar for 2019-20 season resumption published


TORONTO – Defending Toronto Raptors champion will resume the 2019-2020 NBA season on August 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers.The Raptors and the NBA announced their revised eight-game schedule on Friday.

Depending on the restart format, the 22 participating teams will have eight “classification matches”, selected from their remaining regular season games.

Toronto will also play in Miami, Orlando, Boston, Memphis, Milwaukee, Philidelphia and Denver, with the “seedling games” ending August 14.

All games will be played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, without fans.

The Raptors were second seeded to the Eastern Conference when the game was suspended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The NBA reopening party on July 31 will see New Orleans against Utah and the Clippers against the Lakers.
