Three Colorado Rockies players test positive, the source said


Three Colorado Rockies players have been tested positive for the coronavirus, a source told ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the confirmation of a report by The Denver Post.The two players were asymptomatic, and one has shown symptoms, according to the newspaper, which indicated that the positive test came last week.

This month, several Rockies players have been taken in live at bats at Coors Field, according to The Post.

The news comes as the Major League Baseball Players Association and the league tweaked the final details on Tuesday, before a return to the game, which will allow players to report to the camps by 1 July and play a 60-game season from July, 23 or 24 in stadiums empty.

The final obstacle — agreement on the health, safety and security protocols — has been deleted on Tuesday night, nearly three months after the spring training was stopped because of the sars coronavirus pandemic.
