Liam Walsh – Young player of the year
Walsh said: “It has been a great season. It is not as we would have all liked to the end, but just the fact that we got the title confirmed, and won the league, much better than finishing second, it is a moment of pride.
“I wanted to do a lot of things this season and play plenty of minutes to show everyone what I could do, especially my club, Bristol.
“Robins has given me a lot of minutes and I have to thank them for that. ”
Robins added: “Liam’s performance speak for themselves. The team has been outstanding and his performances have been equally exceptional.
“He has played a great through passes and scored goals. He just clicked with his teammates, and as they clicked they started to look really dangerous and started to climb the table. ”
Matty Godden – scorer of the
Godden, said: “It has been a season to remember, that’s for sure.
“The Wycombe hat-trick goal stands out. It was a special moment for me and then Ipswich away at the turn and at the end, was the goal that sealed promotion, so that the stick long in the memory. ”
Robins added: “He came to us and had an injury that he had picked up, and it came on after a few games, he has had a hard time.
“But he is a great guy to have around. It is really intelligent on the field and in movement on it.
“He has done the same thing in training – and now, what we are looking at this, it is from him that we get into the Championship. ”
Liam Walsh – Goal of the season (vs Rochdale)
“Mark Robins has taught me a few things,” he said, smiling.
“We were drawing at the time and it was late in the game. I wanted to put myself forward and there was a lot of space in front of me.
“The defenders ran to me, and I just wanted to get out of them – and then I had my shot away and it went in.
“There were some great team goals, some crucial goals, they mean a lot to us, so I am lucky to win goal of the season award. ”
Robins added: “Walshy’s goal was exceptional, but you can talk about so many goals, so many great goals.
“The team has created so many chances and besides that, there are still some very good objectives and very good football played this season. ”
Jordan Shipley – Community player of the season
Shipley said: “This is a great reward for me because I like to give back to the fans. I have been in this position once a player in the academy, when I looked to the players of the first team.

Mark Robins added: “The players make all the difference, as you can tell from the comments of Matt Hancock over the course of this pandemic.
“The players go into schools and hospitals, in community clubs and football clubs, and try to help in any way they can.
