The judge of Dancing On Ice, Ashley Banjo, said that he is amazed by Alex Murphy-Axis


Ashley Banjo has broken his silence after a new surprising of the axe, sudden professional skater Alex Murphy of Dancing On Ice. The judge of the show, aged 31, was saddened by the exit of shock from Alex, after having issued a statement on Instagram.

Commenting on the statement of Alex, Ashley wrote: “I can’t believe that …” alongside an emoji sad face.

His reaction came in response to the declaration of Alex on Instagram, saying: “It is with a heavy heart that I publish the following statement:

“Over the past three years, Dancing On Ice, has been not only my work, but also what I regarded as my family. “

She continued: “I am heartbroken to announce that I have recently been informed that I will not be renewed for the series Dancing On Ice 2021.

“This decision has been a huge shock to me. I love the show and I was hoping to go back to 2021. I was baffled, lost and devastated. “

She continued: “I am so grateful for the three years that I have had on this incredible show and I will wholeheartedly miss everyone and everything about it.

“Although I am heartbroken, I am firmly convinced that everything happens for a reason, and even if it hurts in the moment, I’m going to get up and look to the future.

Alex has shared the news in a press release

She added: “Thank you so much to all my colleagues in DOI, and especially to the viewers for the support and love constant as I have shown in the past 3 years.

“It was a part of incredible of my life and even if it ends sooner than I would have liked, I am so grateful for the memories. ”

The skater won the program earlier this year alongside the former star of EastEnders, Joe Swash.

A spokesperson for ITV said: “Every series, the team from Dancing On Ice to examine our existing composition, and explores the opportunities to introduce potentially new faces to the team of professional skating.

“Alex Murphy will not appear in the next series and we wish him all the best for the future. ”
