The Fed Kaplan declares that systemic racism hinders the economy


The president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Robert Kaplan, said on Sunday that systemic racism had prevented the american economy from achieving its full potential.

“A more inclusive economy where everyone will have opportunities mean a more rapid growth of the labour force, productivity growth more rapid, and we are to grow up more quickly,” said Mr. Kaplan in the transcription of an appearance in the show “Face the Nation” of CBS.
