Liverpool could win the Premier League title on Sunday if Manchester City were to face Arsenal on Wednesday night. Three points against the Toffees and a victory at Arsenal in mid-week would see the Reds crowned champions.
The Reds are currently 25 points ahead of Manchester City, the men of Pep Guardiola with a game in hand – who will play against Arsenal. In case of defeat, City will have only 27 points to win.
Now, Dean has been appointed referee for the potential shock for the victory in the Premier League. The player 52-year-old was in charge at the victory of Liverpool 5-2 against Everton in December – which saw Divock Original shine after passing the doubled.
Everton, meanwhile, occupies 12th place, but is in the mix to break into the first eight places in the ranking of the Premier League. They are four points behind Tottenham Jose Mourinho.
The fans of Everton have reacted to the announcement that a fan of Tranmere, Dean, had been appointed referee for the clash of the Merseyside prior to the meeting of Sunday, and many believe that it is an advantage to Liverpool because of the selection.
