INDIANAPOLIS –The Colts of Indianapolis have today signed the wide receiver Michael Pittman, Jr.

The Colts have now signed eight of their nine selections on draft pick of the NFL 2020.

Pittman, Jr., 6-4, 223 pounds, was selected by Indianapolis in the second round (34th overall) pick of the NFL 2020. He has played in 48 career games (30 starts) at USC and compiled 171 receptions for 2 519 yards and 19 touchdowns. In addition, Pittman Jr. totaled 17 tackles, three kicks blocked, five returns kick off for 31 yards and six returns punt for 156 yards and a touchdown. He finished 12th on the list of receptions in a career of Trojans.

In 2019, Pittman Jr.has won numerous awards, including honors first-team All-Pac-12 (as a receiver) and second-team All-Pac-12 (as a player of special teams). He was a second-team All-America by the Associated Press and the coaches. As a senior, Pittman Jr. has started 13 games and recorded 101 receptions for 1 275 yards and 11 touchdowns. He finished fifth nationally in receptions per game (7,8, first in Pac-12), 15th in receiving yards per game (98,1, third in Pac-12) and 19th in receiving touchdowns (11), second in Pac-12). The 101 receptions Pittman Jr. ranked fifth in the ranking of the ranking of the receptions at USC for only one season. In 2018, it has obtained the recognition of the honorable mention All-Pac-12 after having started 11 games and collected 41 receptions for 758 yards and six touchdowns. Pittman Jr.has been a key contributor of special teams in 2017 and won the honors of first-team All-Pac-12 as a player of special teams.
