A lawyer on Wednesday filed a criminal complaint against 8 people, including Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and producer-director Karan Johar, in local court over the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The court had set July 3 as the next hearing date.
In his complaint to the Chief Correctional Court, lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha alleged that these eight people forced Sushant to commit suicide in a conspiracy which he claimed amounted to murder.
The other persons cited in the complaint are Aditya Chopra, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Ekta Kapoor and the director Dinesh.
The complainant alleged that these people did not let Sushant’s films out in a conspiracy and that the late actor was not even invited to film because of these people.
Ojha said that the death of Sushant Singh Rajput had not only injured the people of Bihar but the whole country.
He said the complaint was filed under sections 306, 109, 504 and 506 and that Bollywood actor Kangana Ranawat was listed as a witness in the case.
Sushant Singh Rajput reportedly committed suicide on Sunday in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai.
