South zone cleared of new COVID-19 cases for fourth consecutive day

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Government of Alberta reports another day with low rates of COVID-19 infection.

For Sunday, May 31, there were only 18 new cases provincially, bringing the total to 7,010 to date. Of these, 584 are still active while 6,283 have recovered.

For the fourth consecutive day, there were no additional infections in the southern health zone.

In addition, no Albertans died from the virus, leaving the total at 143.
