Six neighbors won thousands after an incredible stroke of luck in the lottery.

The winners, living on Withington Road in Wallasey, woke up Friday morning to find that they would receive £ 1,000 each.

People living in CH44 9BH were announced daily winners of the postal code lottery on June 5.

A whopping £ 6,000 will be distributed to those postal codes who play the daily game, a welcome financial boost in these uncertain times.

People’s Postal Code Lottery Ambassador Judie McCourt sent greetings to the winners. She said, “What a surprise to start the weekend!

“Congratulations to our winners. “

This is the fourth time this week that a Merseyside postal code has hit the daily jackpot.

On Thursday June 4, sixteen people living on Midhurst Road in West Derby were announced as winners.

The neighbors shared £ 16,000 with each other.

At Old Swan, five people living on Cornice Road cashed £ 5,000 when L13 3DH was announced as the daily winner on Sunday 31 May.

A day earlier in Woolton, three neighbors won a total of £ 3,000 to share, when L25 3PL was chosen in the draw on Saturday 30 May.

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charity and People’s Postcode Lottery players have raised over £ 500m to date for thousands of worthy causes in Britain and beyond .

This draw was promoted by Oxfam, which received more than £ 9.6 million in funding from postal code lottery players.

Oxfam is a global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty. It supports disaster relief efforts, educational programs, health initiatives and much more in more than 90 countries around the world.

Many good causes close to the winners also received player support, and local charities can then apply for funding in August.
