Environment Canada says the severe thunderstorm that triggered weather alerts on Saturday morning was located on Manitoulin Island just before 3 p.m. and moves southeast with a continued risk of tornado. This severe thunderstorm was located near West Bay, M’Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island at 2:47 p.m. and is moving southeast at 25 km / h.
Affected locations include Five Mile Bay and Dokis.

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong gusts of wind near 90 km / h and hail nearly 2 cm in diameter are expected Saturday morning.
Large hail can damage property and injuries, and strong gusts of wind can throw loose objects, break tree branches and knock over large vehicles.
