Big Brother fans fondly remembered Brian as one of the funniest roommates of all time in the latest episode of Best Shows Ever on Thursday with some keeping their fingers crossed, Big Brother will make a comeback.
For the latest show, an episode from the 2001 series aired, recalling moments like Brian’s insisting that it sounds like television but it isn’t and the romance between Helen Adams and Paul Clarke, despite the makes her have a boyfriend in the outside world.

Speaking of Brian, who was nervous about discussing his sexuality at home, winning the series, Rylan admitted that it had a big impact on him.
Talking to former host Davina McCall, he said, “To me, being 13, 14, thinking I was gay, knowing I was gay at the time, seeing someone like Brian who was an adult going through the same thing, it was a bit of a moment for me.
“Oh, it’s okay for him. Maybe being gay is not a bad thing. The number of people who would say, “I don’t like gay people, but he looks funny. These are things like that, it’s the beginning of people who change their minds. ”
Davina recalled how nervous Brian was about participating in the show, but added that the nation “took it under their wing.”

She said, “It was very important in terms of LGBTQ rights for Brian. He was very nervous about the show and going out properly, not just for his friends and family but for the nation and would he be accepted? That was what was so beautiful.
“All of Britain took him under their wing and crowned him victorious. I think it was amazing for Brian. His whole world has expanded.
Brian won Ultimate Big Brother in 2010, then hosted the show the following year when it moved to Channel 5, before being replaced by Emma Willis in 2013.
Many fans turned to social media to respond to the episode, some hailing Brian as one of the best roommates of all time.

Before Thursday’s episode of the best shows ever aired, Rylan asked Twitter to respond to fans who criticized the series for making no mention of the fact that Brian hosted the show during Wednesday’s episode when Emma has made an appearance.
As Davina and Emma remembered their experiences hosting the show, fans noted that Brian’s stint as host was not discussed.
Responding to the criticism, Rylan wrote, “I saw some of you and Brian feeling slightly disappointed and leaving aside the conversation between me, Davina and Emma in Wednesday’s show.
