Rebel Wilson Says Royal Family Loved Controversial Jokes About Prince Andrew And Meghan Markle

Rebel Wilson revealed that the royal family “secretly loved” by hearing their controversial jokes about Prince Andrew and Meghan Markle. The comedian appeared to let Prince William and Kate Middleton squirm in their seats with his routine at the BAFTA in February.

The royal couple looked stony-faced while the rest of Albert Hall snickered behind them, but Rebel said insiders said his jokes had swept.

“I am friends with someone from the royal family and they say that all members of the royal family have a great sense of humor and that they love them secretly,” she told The Sun.

Rebel, 40, said she also spoke directly to William and Kate after the ceremony and that there was no embarrassment.

“I spoke to Kate and William’s private secretary after the BAFTA and everything seemed to be going well.

“I mean, obviously, I’m not a malicious person either. My goal is not to try to kill someone, especially in the BAFTAs, “she insisted.

Rebel began his speech to the public by saying it was good to be at the Royal Andrew Hall – which came just after Prince William’s uncle was accused of sleeping with a 17-year-old girl who was allegedly victim of trafficking by his pedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein, something he denies.

After the gag, the camera turned to William and Kate, awkwardly smiling in the front row.

William and Kate didn’t seem as amused as the rest of the audience – but Rebel says “I loved it”

“Good evening distinguished guests and those who do not identify like that. It’s really great to be here at the Royal Andrew … Royal Harry … Royal Phillip … this place in the royal palace. ”

The Duke of York resigned from royal office in November after his Newsnight interview about a “car accident”.

In addition to joking about the scandal, Rebel also joked about Meghan Markle’s decision to withdraw from the royal family with her husband, Prince Harry.

In addition to defending his own routine, Rebel also spoke for his friend and bridesmaid co-star Matt Lucas.

Matt and David Walliams apologized last week after their Little Britain show was pulled from the black face streaming service.

Rebel said, “I know the show of my friends Matt Lucas Little britain [was removed] I think it’s a little crazy. They obviously play a lot of different characters in this series … It’s amazing, he’s the kindest and most decent human being ever, “she told Studio 10.

“There’s a lot of talk going on right now about what’s forbidden in comedy… where should the comedians go? ” she asked.
