Happy Friday! It is grey and rainy today (or at least, it is where I am writing this from), so what could be better than a very healthy news story about Prince Louis, the youngest child of Kate Middleton and Prince William, and other royal in his own right: Mary Berry, Queen of Baking?
You may or may not already know this, but the little Prince Louis (who turned two during the lockout, and celebrated with a messy painting workshop) is a long-term fan of the woman who launched a thousand cakes. So much so, that apparently some of his first words were inspired by it.
While chatting, away from the old GBBO judge in the course of bay Royal Christmas, Kate shared that, “One of Louis’ first words to Marie, because to the right and its height are all my cookbooks in the kitchen shelf… And the kids are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your kitchen books and say to him, “This is Mary Berry’… then he would definitely recognize you if he saw you today. ”
Now, a source apparently close to the family has shared another adorable anecdote about Louis’ obsession with Mary, saying that the tot of love is still on, and he cheers every time she is on TV.
Speaking of Fabulous, said the source claimed, “Every time he sees Mary on tv, he whoops and claps his hands.”
Oh, and there’s more! Apparently, the small loves nothing more than the control of the Mary of the books and pointing to pictures of her cakes favorite (same, tbh). ” [He] likes nothing better than to check on the Mary Berry cookery books… He loves the images, the points of all the things he wants to eat, with The Very Chocolate Cake, apple Crumble and Plums pretend to be hot favorites, fruit, and scones are a must. ”
Naturally, it was thought that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge find the whole thing ” hilarious “. Once again, the same tbh.
Maybe when Louis gets a few more words under his hat, he, too, could become a cooking judge? Just a thought…
