Leroy Sane has officially declared to Manchester City that he wants to leave the club this summer.

Sane will leave for Bayern Munich in the coming months if the two clubs can agree on a fee – but City has maintained that they will not be intimidated to free the player at low cost.
Pep Guardiola boss said Leroy Sane had officially declared in Manchester City that he wanted to leave
The Premier League champions will allow the 24-year-old to terminate his contract until next June if Bayern does not make an offer deemed acceptable. Sane has made it clear to Bayern that he is ready to move to Bavaria immediately.
“Leroy has said he does not want to extend the contract,” said Pep Guardiola. “He wants to leave. This will happen this summer or when it is out of contract.
“The club has spoken to Leroy two or three times to extend their contract. He rejected. He wants to play in another club.
If at the end of the season, the two clubs reach an agreement, then he will leave, otherwise he will stay one more year and will leave at the end of his contract.

Sane was an unused replacement in Wednesday’s 3-0 victory over Arsenal and has yet to make his long-awaited return from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Guardiola acknowledged that City was powerless to stop the German start, but maintained that he only wanted players fully engaged. The ideal resolution for all parties would be a quick exit.
“I’m so disappointed,” added Guardiola. “When we make an offer to a player, it’s because we want to. We tried before the injury, we tried after. He has other wishes and I understand.
“We want players who want to play with this club, players who commit to trying to reach goals but of course we respect it. I have nothing against him but he decided he wanted a new adventure for his career. We will count on the players who want to stay here. “
