He also teased a special appearance, adding, “I mean I can’t even say everything because there is a guest star. But it’s really, it’s really beautiful.

“One of the things about Comic Relief is that it just gives you the ability to do things that would never happen.

And the second clip is here for you to enjoy:

What happens in Normal People promotions?

In the first mini-episode, Marianne and Connell are seen asking a priest for advice.

But it’s not just any priest, however. Fleabag fans will notice a familiar face – as the Hot Priest (Andrew Scott) makes an appearance in cameo.

Connell begins the special episode by saying to the priest, “Bless me Father, for I have sinned.

“I am in love, father, but it is complicated. I hurt the person I love. I don’t know, I guess I’m just really torn apart. ”

And in a shocking scene, Daisy admits a terrible act by admitting to having stolen Connell’s silver chain.

The clip ends with the trio singing Baby Can I Hold You Tonight by Boyzone.

The second clip sees Connell and Marianne in a rather intense exchange – on a plate of beans on toast.

The mini-episode opens with Connell, now around 40, stood in the kitchen in her dressing gown, holding out two plates.

Marianne – also in her bathrobe and holding a bottle of hot water – berates him for cooking and assumes that she is hungry when she has already had dinner.

The sweet clip shows that no matter how far they go, they will always seem to have a communication problem.

Fans were blown away by the hilarious exchange – and intense as always -.

One of them posted on Twitter: “He blew me away in this scene. It’s not very often that you see such an incredible, extraordinary actor performance like this. Exceptional. ”

Another wrote, “Brilliant. And that means Marianne and Connell stay together FOREVER. ”

A third said, “Exceptional! It was a religious experienceWedding !! I’m a mess!

“INCREDIBLE voices – I love this song by Tracy Chapman. AND the priest of Fleabag !! Ingenious !! Well done guys and just thank you. ”

Others said the episodes proved that a sequel would be very well received, with a fan saying, “In conclusion. A sequel that will take place in a few years could work;) “
