The show is based on a successful novel of the same name written by Sally Rooney and follows the story of two students’connell (Paul Mescal) and Marianne (Daisy Edgar-Jones).
The two special upcoming will be released on 26 June on RTÉ Does Comic Relief in Ireland.
Fans can also breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the actors Paul and Daisy will be returning for the next shows, as well as the director Lenny Abrahamson.
The co-founder of Comic Relief, Richard Curtis, has confirmed this exciting new speaking to the radio RTÉ.
He also teased some interesting features, including a jump of 40 years in the future.
“There is a beautiful piece called Normal Older People, which imagines what would have happened to Marianne and’connell in 40 years. “

The organizer has also praised Comic Relief for the opportunities offered by the organization.

Normal People became the most-watched show on BBC Three.
Although the show is intended for audiences under the age of 25 years, the drama in 12 parts has also attracted an older audience that has been captivated by the feeling of first love that is described in the show.
