Normal People from the BBC returns for two special after the series breaks records

Normal People are expected to return for two more specials after the huge success of the first show.BBC Three has attracted viewers since the release of the drama to adolescents at the beginning of April.

The show is based on a successful novel of the same name written by Sally Rooney and follows the story of two students’connell (Paul Mescal) and Marianne (Daisy Edgar-Jones).

The two special upcoming will be released on 26 June on RTÉ Does Comic Relief in Ireland.

Fans can also breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the actors Paul and Daisy will be returning for the next shows, as well as the director Lenny Abrahamson.

The co-founder of Comic Relief, Richard Curtis, has confirmed this exciting new speaking to the radio RTÉ.
