The boys enjoyed two decades of success as an Oasis when their group was active between 1991 and their bitter breakup in 2009.
But where did it all go wrong? The singer says that his performances on stage during his stay in the group leave much to be desired as he looks back on his past career in the group.
He told the Mail Sunday: “When I played the guitar in Oasis, I thought I looked like Jimi Hendrix some nights.
“Then you see the pictures and I was hanging out. ”
At their peak, Oasis performed for more than a quarter of a million people in two nights at their two-night concerts in Knebworth in 1996.
However, it seems that the scene set up for the group was as lifeless as Noel’s performances.
He explains: “We had cardboard backdrops. We weren’t there to push the boat. ”
Oasis fans who have long hoped the boys will come together to play again seem ready to wait much longer.
In February, Liam said the group was offered £ 100 million to reform – but said Noel refused the offer.
He made the announcement via social media by tweeting: He tweeted: “We were offered 100 million pounds for a tour still insufficient for the greedy soul, well stay young LG. ”
During the month of March, Liam made allegations that Noel’s wife was hoping for a reunion during a question and answer session on Twitter with fans.
A fan tweeted him, asking, “Hi Liam, do you know why Noel hates an oasis reunion ?????? ”
Liam replied, “I told you before before I started running, but you know who won’t leave him because she doesn’t like oasis music [sic]. ”
While the “you know who” seems to be a search of Sara, whom Noel married in 2011 two years after the separation from Oasis.
