Mohamed Salah kept his word in Liverpool to win the Premier League title

With 17 Premier League goals for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool so far this season, including converting a fabulous pass from Fabinho to Crystal Palace, Mohamed Salah has more than played his part. The Egyptian arrived with a point to prove, having not shown his true talents at Chelsea.

The team he joined also had a point to prove as they returned to the top table.

First the Champions League in Madrid, then the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar, and now the first championship title in three decades.

Salah made a promise at the start of his stay in Merseyside – a commitment that underscored the reason he chose to move to the North West.

In December 2017, just a few months after his career at Liverpool, Salah spoke about his ambitions during his stay at Anfield.

He said, “As a team, I know we haven’t won the Premier League in a long time, so I would love to win it with Liverpool.

“We have a great team, we have a great manager, so everything is going well at the club. I’m sure we can win trophies here together. ”

Liverpool is Premier League champion

And how Salah was right. Not only has Liverpool ended its title drought, but it will do so in record time.
