“What does that mean,” off? “”, Mocks Damon, with Kimmel replying that it just takes a little time.
” What will I do? Said Damon, 49, adding that he had been waiting to show up after hiding in the room for three months. The duo has been known for years for a wacky “quarrel”.
Kimmel, 52, said he would take a break from July 6 to spend it with his family.
“There’s nothing wrong, I’m healthy, my family is healthy, I just need a few months off,” said Kimmel. The statement appeared to address Kimmel’s break in 2017 – when he walked away from the show after his son, Billy, was born with a heart defect, which required several surgeries.
Kimmel’s hiatus will end in September when he returns to the skies to welcome the Emmys, although it is unclear whether they will take place virtually or in person in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
This spoof clip shows Damon and Kimmel joking with each other as the actor tears the host apart for keeping a Tori spelling book in his bedroom – Damon quips he read three times hiding. Shortly after, Kimmel’s wife, Molly, is seen sneaking out of this room – also in a dressing gown.
“Why is my wife in the bedroom?” Asked Kimmel. “I mean, why do you think she’s in the room? Damon answers.
Damon then steps out of the screen, wishing Kimmel a great summer wherever he goes.
“You have a great summer wherever you go,” replies Kimmel.
” I go! Said Damon. “I’m going to your wife’s house!” “
